Even if others try to harm us ...

Although King Saul sought to kill David, David did not harm King Saul.

Therefore, David did not commit any wrongdoing against King Saul

(1 Samuel 24:11).

Genesis 50:19 comes to mind:

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good

to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

When meditating on these verses,

even if someone intends to harm us,

we should not seek revenge, but rather pray, hope, and wait

for how God will turn it for good, fulfilling His good, pleasing, and perfect will

(Romans 12:2).
