I pray that my dear friend will believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.

Jonathan listened to his covenant with his brother David and honored his request.

Of course, the reason was his deep love for David, as he loved him as his own life.

And Jonathan planned to inform David immediately

if he discovered that his father Saul was plotting to kill David,

 so that David could escape.

In short, Jonathan wanted to rescue David,

whom he loved, from the hands of his father, Saul

(1 Samuel 20:8-12).

I aspire to be like Jonathan, who listens to the requests of his beloved friends.

I want to be like Jonathan, who loves his friends as his own life.

I pray that my beloved friends believe in Jesus Christ and receive salvation.

This is what the Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:4 –

"God wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
