If we live by what we see and hear instead of by faith ...
If we live by what we see and hear instead of by faith,
we will be quick to listen to words of unbelief rather than God's promises,
leading to a sin of complaining and grumbling in fear
(Ref.: Deuteronomy 1:26-28; 2 Corinthians 5:7; James 1:19).
We must let our children go in faith.
Moses' parents could no longer hide their three-month-old son, Moses,
so they got a papyrus basket, coated it with tar and pitch to make it waterproof,
and placed Moses in it. They set the basket among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.
Moses' sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him
(Exodus 2:2-3).
By faith, Moses' parents hid him for three months (Hebrews 11:23)
and then let him go in faith.
We must also let our children go in faith and watch from a distance
to see how God works in their lives by faith.
When we pray and wait in faith for our children ...
While praying for our children with faith, expecting and waiting,
God will deliver our children in His time and in His way
(Ref.: Exodus 2:2-6).
