The elders should take care of the flock

that God has entrusted to them.

The elders should take care of the flock that God has entrusted to them

with sincerity, joy, and a willing heart, according to God's will.

They should not do it simply for a salary, nor should they try to dominate them.

Instead, they should be examples to the flock.

Then, when the Chief Shepherd, Christ, appears,

they will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away

(1 Peter 5:2-4).
