We do not pay attention to riches obtained by deceit.

This is Proverbs 21:6 from the Modern Korean Version:

"A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare."

The reason we do not focus on wealth obtained through deceit is

because such wealth is like a disappearing mist and a deadly trap.

Even within the church, members are deceiving and defrauding one another to steal money.

Clearly, the Bible states that God gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18),

but as people try to become rich by their own strength and ability (v. 17),

they go so far as to deceive others to gain wealth.
