"The Lord Provide”?

"God was 'The Lord Provide' to Abraham. That is, God provided a ram as a burnt offering

in place of Abraham’s only son, Isaac, on the mountain of the Lord.

So, Abraham took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son

(Genesis 22:8, 13-14).

However, God the Father did not become 'The Lord Provide' for Himself.

That is, God the Father did not prepare a lamb to be offered as an atoning sacrifice on the cross

in place of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, on the mountain of the Lord.

Instead, God the Father directly prepared His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Passover Lamb,

to be an atoning sacrifice on the cross to atone for our sins (1 John 4:10).
