No matter how much we may find ourselves in situations or circumstances
that seem impossible for God's promises to be fulfilled...
Abram, whose wife Sarai was unable to conceive, and who was over 75 years old,
received a promise from God: "I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth,
so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted"
(Genesis 11:30, 12:4, 13:16).
Receiving this seemingly impossible promise,
Abraham did not waver in unbelief or weaken in faith.
Instead, he grew stronger in faith, giving glory to God and being fully convinced
that God was able to do what he had promised
(Romans 4:18-21).
Like our ancestor of faith, Abraham,
we too, no matter how much we may find ourselves in situations or circumstances
that seem impossible for God's promises to be fulfilled,
should not waver in unbelief or weaken in faith.
Instead, we should stand firm in faith, giving glory to God and being fully convinced
that what God has promised, He will surely fulfill.
