We must stop loving knowing that everything will pass away.
We must not love this world or the things of the world,
knowing that everything in the world will pass away,
including the lust of the flesh, the greed of the eyes, and the pride in life.
Rather, we must become people who do God's will and live forever
(1 John 2:15-17).
