God saw everything that Laban did to Jacob.

God knew that Laban deceived Jacob and changed his wages ten times.

God communicated this fact to Jacob.

Jacob then called his wives Rachel and Leah to him in the field

where he was tending his flocks outside the house (Genesis 31:4-12).

In close relationships, difficulties and crises that can arise

are valuable opportunities to hear the voice of God and His word.

It's a chance to listen to His word and obey it with faith alongside a beloved spouse.
