The Holy Spirit sets us free with the truth of the Lord.

The Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,

there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).

When we know the truth of the Lord, the truth will set us free (John 8:32).

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord who dwells within us,

sets us free with the truth of the Lord.

Christians who live according to the Holy Spirit ...

A Christian who lives according to the Holy Spirit

corrects his brother with a gentle heart when he makes a mistake,

and is careful not to be subjected to the same test himself

(Galatians 6:1).

We must not limit the activities of the Holy Spirit ...

We must not limit the activities of the Holy Spirit.

However, we should not take this to mean

that we should not limit the activities of the Holy Spirit

outside the bounds of truth (or the boundaries of truth)

(1 Thessalonians 5:19).

A person filled with the Holy Spirit ...

Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit

speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,

singing and making melody to the Lord in their hearts,

giving thanks to God the Father at all times

and in everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ

(Ephesians 5:18-21).
