Faithful brothers …

The Modern Korean Bible translates the term

"faithful brothers" (Colossians 1:2) as "brothers who believe in Christ."

In other words, "faithful brothers" are those who continue to faithfully believe in Jesus Christ.

"Faithful brothers" are:

• Full of faith,
• Trustful and trustworthy,
• Loyal to Christ (KJV Bible Commentary).

"Faithful brothers in Christ" are those who are loyal to Christ

and serve as faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:5),

following the Lord honestly in everything (Psalm 101:6),

being faithful in even the smallest things (Luke 16:10),

remaining faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10),

and receiving both the praise from the Lord (Luke 19:17)

"Well done, good servant!  Because you have been faithful in a very little"

and the crown of life from Him (Revelation 2:10).
