Christians who are mature in their faith

know the mysterious wisdom of God hidden

through the Holy Spirit, who is God's spirit.

That is, they know the heart of the Lord,

the thoughts of the Lord, and the works of the Lord.

It was ordained by God before the ages for our glory.

This is what God has prepared for those who love him.

God revealed the secret to us through the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, we know the gift

that God has graciously given us through the Holy Spirit

(1 Corinthians 2:6-16).

The free gift that God has given us by grace

is eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ

(Romans 6:23).
