The Lord will awaken those who have fallen asleep

and raise them again!

Jairus, the synagogue leader, fell at Jesus' feet and pleaded,

"My little daughter is dying ...."

The people from Jairus' house came and said,

"Your daughter is dead."

Yet Jesus said, "She is not dead but asleep."

To the onlookers, it seemed clear that the child had died,

but to Jesus, she was merely sleeping.

The death of the saints is like sleeping.

The Lord will wake the sleeping and raise them again

(Mark 5:23, 35, 39; John 11:11, 13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13, 16).
