We automatically judge others.

We automatically judge others.

I cannot imagine that I will be judged as much as I judge others.

Because I can't see the beam in my own eye,

I don't even think about removing it.

But I only see the flaws in the other person,

and I judge them, and even condemn them.

Jesus said, "Hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye,

and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

Yet, I struggle to remove the plank from my own eye

without wrestling in prayer before God,

and instead of helping to remove the speck from my brother's eye,

I end up judging them, causing wounds in their hearts

(Matthew 7:1-5).
