The limit of forgiving others?
The limit of forgiving others is the limit of my faith
(Luke 17:4-5).
Why do we refuse to forgive? (1)
As someone forgiven by God the Father through Jesus Christ,
we must forgive our brother who has sinned against us from our hearts,
just as God has forgiven us.
However, if we do not emulate the merciful heart of God,
we will refuse to forgive the plea of that brother seeking forgiveness
(Matthew 18:23-35).
Why do we refuse to forgive? (2)
He who loves the Lord much has many sins forgiven,
but he who is forgiven little loves little
(Luke 7:47).
