‘The voice of one crying out in the wilderness’

‘The voice of one crying out in the wilderness’ as spoken through the prophet Isaiah,

refers to John the Baptist, who cried out, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."

He prepared the way of the Lord and made straight paths for Him

(Matthew 3:1-3).

Similarly, we are like John the Baptist in this world, which is like a wilderness,

proclaiming, "Repent, for the kingdom of the King Jesus is near,"

preparing the way of the Lord and making straight paths for His return.
