We must not betray our wives.

God has made us one with our wives.

The purpose of this is to obtain godly offspring.

Therefore, we must guard our hearts and not betray our wives,

whom we married in our youth.

We must remain faithful to our wives a

s we pledged in our marriage vows

and also honor God through our relationship with them.

This is the word of God:

"I hate divorce," says the Lord God of Israel,

and ‘I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment,’

says the Lord Almighty.

So guard yourself in your spirit,

and do not break faith with your wife

(Malachi 2:14-16).
