Let's pray according to the Scriptures.

When he was living on earth, Jesus Christ offered prayers and requests

with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death.

He was heard because of his devotion to God (Heb. 5:7).

Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—

is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us (Rom. 8:34).

Jesus Christ, who died and rose again according to the Scriptures,

now intercedes for us before God's throne.

Jesus Christ intercedes for each one of us individually,

understanding our circumstances and needs perfectly,

and continues to intercede for us at the right hand of God.

The Holy Spirit, who helps us in our weakness, intercedes for us in accordance with God's will,

making groans that cannot be expressed in words (vv. 26-27).

Therefore, we must believe in this reality and pray to God according to the Scriptures.

In other words, we should pray according to the leading of the Holy Spirit,

in accordance with God's Word or His will.
