The purpose of God
The purpose of God,
who loved us beforehand (previously known and ordained),
is to conform us to the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Ultimately, God's ultimate purpose,
orchestrating all things in our lives for good,
is to make us resemble Jesus Christ
(Rom. 8:28, 29).
