What does it mean to live a life centered on the Lord?

To live a life centered on the Lord means to submit to the rule of God the Father,

who is the embodiment of love (1 Jn. 4:8, 16), and to obey the twofold commandments of Jesus,

who is the Son of God and the embodiment of truth (Jn. 14:6):

loving God and loving our neighbor (Mt. 22:37, 39).

It involves following the guidance of the Holy Spirit

and having fellowship with God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ

(1 Jn. 1:3).
