" Is the LORD's arm too short?"

Moses thought it would be impossible to provide enough meat

for the approximately 600,000 men of Israel and their families to eat for a whole month,

even if all the flocks and herds were slaughtered in the wilderness (Num. 11:21-22).

But God caused quail to be driven into the Israelite camp from all around,

providing an abundant supply of food for the vast multitude (vv. 31-33).

Philip thought it would be impossible to feed a large crowd of over 5,000 men,

even if each person received only a small portion,

with just two hundred denarii worth of bread (Jn. 6:7).

However, Jesus miraculously fed them all with just two fish and five loaves of bread,

and there were 12 baskets of leftovers (vv. 10-13).

"Is the LORD's arm too short?

You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you"

(Num. 11:23).
