The work of the Holy Spirit is ...

The work of the Holy Spirit is

to make us seek God's word even more fervently

when we are in great distress,

to humbly receive that word with joy,

 and to understand God's will through it,

so that we may obediently act according to His will.

As a result,

the Holy Spirit molds us with God's word in times of distress,

sanctifying us and conforming us to the likeness of the Lord.
