Love and Truth

 

 

Following the guidance of the Holy Spirit,

God the Father, who is Love (1 Jn. 4:8, 16),

and Jesus Christ, the Son of God who is Truth (Jn. 14:6),

those who have fellowship with God (1 Jn. 1:3) as His children (3:1, 2)

love one another as brothers and sisters in true love within the Lord (v. 18).

Furthermore, they speak the truth in love

(Eph. 4:15).
